My name is Anastassia Olmos, Stassi for short.
I am an Emmy-award winning in-depth and investigative reporter currently freelance reporting in my hometown of Los Angeles, California. I spent several years as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida.
I graduated with a bachelors from the University of Southern California and then obtained a masters degree from Columbia Journalism School in New York City.
Some of the more notable stories I investigated include the property insurance crisis in Florida, ultimately contributing to two special sessions with important legislative changes; the 2019 Murdaugh boat crash in South Carolina, holding law enforcement accountable for not DUI testing the teens; and the Christmas Day bombing in Downtown Nashville where police had been previously warned of the bomber.
